Bazaar Ramadan Stadium Shah Alam, nestled beside the iconic Malawati Stadium, is one of the largest and most celebrated pasar ramadan (param) - as it is known locally - in the region.
With over 200 vendors, this bazaar is a gastronomic paradise, drawing locals and tourists alike with its array of traditional and fusion cuisines. As you wander through the bustling stalls, the air is thick with the aroma of grilling meats and spices.
For iftar, start with the iconic Murtabak Singapura, a crispy, savory pancake stuffed with spiced meat, or try the succulent Lamb Shank by Chef Ammar, known for its tender, flavorful meat. Don't miss out on the BBQ Chicken Wings, marinated to perfection, or the Cheesy Roti John.
For those with a sweet tooth, the Onde-Onde, filled with sweet palm sugar, is a must-try. Other highlights include Nasi Kerabu, a vibrant blue rice dish with an assortment of sambals, and the unique Murtabak Maggi.
To get there, your best bet is by car or motorcycle due to limited public transport options. Limited stadium parking, so arriving early is advisable. Overflow parking at nearby commercial lots. Plan to spend at least a couple of hours to fully embrace the culinary adventure this bazaar offers.
