Kelam Cave, also known as the Cave of Darkness, is Perlis' most popular attraction. This 370-metre cavern, discovered during Malaya's golden era of tin mining, was used by the British to transport tin ore from a mine near the entrance to the underground river. It also enabled residents of Wang Kelian and Kaki Bukit to travel between their villages.
Kelam Cave is one of Malaysia's most unique caves, nestled beautifully among limestone karts. Thrillseekers can walk down a wooden walkway surrounded by geological formations dating back 480 million years. Keep an eye out for cave residents such as bats and insects, as well as tin relics!
