Pulau Bumbon Besar is an island to the southeast of Kuah town in Langkawi. This C-shaped island has a lovely stretch of beach facing the east. The island is uninhabited with just some structures in disrepair. It is one of a pair of islands that includes Pulau Bumbon Kecil.
The island has a lovely stretch of beach facing the east. The island is uninhabited but has a tiny beach excellent for swimming and snorkeling. Its twin island Pulau Bombon Kechil is located close to it.
It is possible to get a boat to take you to Pulau Bumbon Besar from the jetty at Kuah. The island is less than 3 NM from Kuah, on the southeast from Pulau Langkawi.
