Yes, Putra Mosque is open to visitors outside of prayer times (typically Saturday-Thursday 9:00 AM-12:30 PM, 2:00 PM-4:00 PM, and 5:30 PM-6:00 PM; Friday 3:00 PM-4:00 PM, 5:30 PM-6:00 PM). Entry is free, but modest clothing is required—robes are provided for women at the entrance. Remove shoes before entering and maintain respectful silence inside.

The Putra Bridge features wide, dedicated pedestrian walkways completely separated from vehicle traffic on both sides. The walkways are well-maintained, wheelchair-accessible, and include protective railings. It's one of the safest and most scenic pedestrian bridges in Malaysia.

The trail begins at Dataran Putra (the main square in front of Perdana Putra), crosses the Putra Bridge, continues approximately 1 kilometer past the bridge, then loops back to the starting point. The route forms a circuit around the government precinct, ensuring you return to your starting location.

The walking trail is completely free. Putra Mosque entry is also free. Parking at Dataran Putra is free. The only potential cost is if you choose to take an optional Putrajaya lake cruise, which typically costs RM20-30 per person.

By car: Take the ELITE Highway or MEX Highway (30-40 minutes, free parking available). By public transport: Take the KLIA Transit train to Putrajaya & Cyberjaya Station, then a 10-minute taxi/Grab ride (RM10-15) to Dataran Putra. Direct buses from KL Sentral are also available but less frequent.
