Dhab Sinai Farm, situated in Kamunting, Taiping, Perak, Malaysia, is a unique destination dedicated to the breeding and conservation of the desert lizard known as dhab (Uromastyx aegyptia). Established by Azhar Mohamed Shapawi, a former student of Al-Azhar University in Egypt, the farm has been operational since 1994. It began with just two dhabs and has since expanded to house over 200 of these fascinating creatures.
Visitors to Dhab Sinai Farm can explore 44 enclosures, providing an up-close experience with these herbivorous reptiles. The farm also processes dhabs to produce herbal oil extracts, supplying to massage therapists, spas, manufacturers, and private label owners.
