The Taiping War Cemetery, located in Bukit Larut, Taiping, Perak, Malaysia, serves as the final resting place for Allied soldiers who perished during World War II, particularly throughout the Malayan Campaign and the subsequent Japanese occupation. Situated approximately 2 kilometers south of Taiping town, the cemetery is accessible via Jalan Bukit Larut, en route to the local waterfall and swimming pool.
Visitors to the cemetery often engage in reflective walks among the meticulously maintained gravesites, paying respects to the fallen soldiers. The site is divided into two sections: the southeastern side houses Christian graves marked by a prominent Cross of Sacrifice, while the opposite side contains Muslim and Gurkha graves, signified by a Stone of Remembrance. Each grave is marked with a white granite headstone, and Muslim graves are oriented toward Mecca in accordance with Islamic tradition.
