The tallest rock in Langkawi, Malaysia, is Gunung Raya, which is 881 metres high. It's in the middle of everything and surrounded by a thick jungle that's full of animals. The forest reserve covers more than 5,000 hectares. To get to the top, you can either drive or walk. The drive is beautiful and fun, and you'll almost certainly see wildlife early in the morning. From the top, you can see the whole island and the Andaman Sea. On top is the D'Coconut Hill Resort, which has a public watch tower. When you stand on top of the tower, you can see Langkawi, the Andaman Sea, and even Thailand's main island. At the base of the mountain is the Gunung Raya Golf Course. Gunung Raya is accessible by road and stairs. The winding drive through the lush rainforest is via a good tarmac road and takes approximately 30 minutes. Trekkers can opt to take a guided tour or make their own way.
