Ujong Buloh remnant island is part of a cluster of tropical karstic islands extended to Pulau Riang-riang, Pulau Batang, Pulau Balar, Pulau Ketumbu, Pulau Puchong, Pulau Tajai, Pulau Gubang Laut and Pulau Gubang Darat. Most of these consist of whitish limestones from the Chuping Formation except Ujong and Riang-riang, which consist of greyish limestons from the Setul Formation. These islands also exhibit evidence of ancient sea level changes and common Feature like tropical caves, sea stacks and sea arches.
