Jeram Perlus Waterfall is located within the Kemensah forest reserve and accessed via Sungai Kemensah. The route follows the river upstream from the common entry points along Jalan Taman Rimba.

The trail length is approximately 500 metres to 1 kilometre one way, depending on the starting point used. Access requires repeated river crossings and sections of direct river walking. Water depth is typically ankle- to knee-level in normal conditions.

The terrain consists of mixed नदी bed (rocks, gravel), compact dirt, and muddy banks. There is no formal trail construction or fixed route. Path alignment changes over time due to water flow and foot traffic.

Jeram Perlus is a multi-tiered cascade with low vertical drop. Water flows over a series of rock shelves, forming shallow pools between levels. The site does not have built viewing platforms, barriers, or designated entry points into the water.

Flow rate is rainfall-dependent. After rain, water volume increases and current strength at crossing points may change. During dry periods, flow is reduced and more rock surfaces are exposed.
