Taman Tasik Shah Alam, better known locally as Tasik Tengah, is a 43-hectare park built around a central lake connected to smaller lakes, bridges, and shaded pathways. Located along Pesiaran Indah in Seksyen 14, it sits close to the Shah Alam city center and just a short distance from the Blue Mosque, whose dome reflects across the water at sunrise and sunset, a shot regularly picked out by local photographers.
A 4.4-kilometer paved circuit runs the full loop around the lake, taking roughly 1.5 to 2 hours to complete on foot, and stays popular with joggers and cyclists throughout the day thanks to consistent tree cover along most of the route.
