Tallest group of minarets in the world. Four minarets rise 142.3 metres each, one at every corner of the mosque.
One of the world's largest religious domes. The blue-and-silver dome spans 51.2 metres and is visible from across Shah Alam.
Blue light inside the prayer hall. Stained glass tints the daylight blue, and Egyptian calligraphy runs along the inside of the dome.
Free guided tours for all visitors. Non-Muslims can visit outside prayer times, with robes and headscarves provided free.

Yes. Visitors of all faiths can enter outside prayer times. Free guided tours explain the mosque's architecture, its history and daily Islamic practice.
No. Entry is free, and so are the guided tours. The robes and headscarves you borrow at the mosque are free too.
Wear modest clothing that covers your arms and legs. Women also need to cover their hair. If your outfit isn't suitable, the mosque will lend you a robe and a headscarf. Remove your shoes before you enter the prayer hall.
Take the LRT Shah Alam Line to Dato' Menteri station in Seksyen 14. From there, a feeder bus or e-hailing covers the last stretch to Persiaran Masjid. From central Kuala Lumpur, a Grab ride takes about 30 minutes outside peak hours.
Weekday mornings are quieter and cooler, and late afternoon gives the best light for photographs. Avoid Friday midday, because the mosque is busy with Friday prayers and tourist visits are shorter. Timings can change, so check with the mosque before you go.
