Muzium Telekom is a museum in Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Situated on Jalan Raja Chulan in Kuala Lumpur, the Muzium Telekom is housed in a grand 1928 neo-classical building that once serviced the city’s earliest telephone exchanges. The museum traces the evolution of Malaysia’s telecommunications industry from telegraph and manual switchboards to modern digital networks. Inside, visitors will find vintage telephones, switch-board equipment, interactive displays and historical artefacts that bring this story to life. The heritage architecture, including its stately columns and historic facade, adds extra character to your visit. Easily reached by monorail or LRT (Masjid Jamek or Bukit Bintang stations), the museum sits in the heart of the Golden Triangle and makes a rewarding half-day stop for both heritage fans and technology-curious travellers. Allocate about 1-2 hours to browse the exhibits and enjoy the cafe on the ground floor. Parking is limited so using public transport is recommended.
